How do I create a PlanWed account?

Download PlanWed on iOS or Android, or open planwed.app/sign-in on the web. Sign in with Google or Apple — no password needed. It takes about 30 seconds.

How do I invite my partner to plan together?

Open the app, go to Settings → Wedding → Invite partner. Enter their email address or share a unique invite link. Once they accept, you'll both see and edit the same wedding plan in real time — guest list, budget, seating chart, and all.

What platforms does PlanWed support?

iOS (iPhone & iPad), Android, and web at planwed.app. Your data syncs instantly across all your devices. Most couples use the mobile app day-to-day and the web version for larger tasks like building a seating chart.

Can I use PlanWed for multiple weddings?

Each account is tied to one wedding plan. If you need to start fresh, you can reset your wedding data from Settings → Wedding → Reset. If you're a professional planner managing multiple couples, reach out — we'd love to hear from you.

Is PlanWed free to use?

Yes. PlanWed has a free plan that covers the essentials: budget tracking, a guest list, basic task management, and a seating chart up to a certain size. Premium unlocks unlimited guests, full RSVP workflows, advanced budget categories, and more.

New accounts get a 14-day free Premium trial — no credit card required.

What's included in Premium?

Premium includes:

Guests & RSVP — Unlimited guests, personal RSVP links, meal preferences, dietary notes, and automated reminders.
Budget — Unlimited budget categories, payment tracking, per-vendor notes, and budget vs. actuals view.
Seating — Unlimited tables and guests, drag-and-drop layout, and guest import from your list.
Collaboration — Real-time sync with your partner on all devices.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

On iOS, go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions and cancel from there. On Android, open the Google Play Store → Subscriptions. You'll keep Premium access until the end of the billing period. Your data is never deleted when you cancel.

How does the guest list work?

Add guests manually or import from a spreadsheet (CSV). For each guest you can track: name, email, phone, dietary requirements, meal choice, RSVP status, plus-one, table assignment, and notes. The guest list stays in sync with your seating chart so changes flow through automatically.

How do wedding RSVPs work in PlanWed?

PlanWed generates a personal RSVP link for each guest (or group). Share the link by message, email, or print it on an invitation. Guests tap the link, fill in their reply, and their answer appears instantly in your guest list — no app download required on their end.

You can also send reminder nudges to guests who haven't yet responded.

How does the seating chart work?

Add tables (round, rectangular, or custom), drag guests from your list on to seats, and watch the counts update in real time. The chart is connected to your guest list, so RSVP status and guest details are always current. You can also print or export the layout.

Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?

Yes. From the guest list screen, tap Import → CSV and upload your spreadsheet. PlanWed will map your columns to the relevant fields. You can download a template CSV to see the expected format before importing.

Is my wedding data secure?

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We store data on Google Firebase, which is ISO 27001 certified and undergoes independent security audits. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export your guest list as a CSV from the guest list screen at any time. Budget exports are available on Premium. If you need a full data export, email support@planwed.app and we'll prepare one for you within 5 business days.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes all your wedding data and cannot be undone. If you're on a Premium plan, cancel your subscription first to avoid further charges.

I found a bug — how do I report it?

Email support@planwed.app with a short description, the device and OS version you're using, and a screenshot if you have one. Bug reports go straight to the team and we aim to respond within one business day.
